Painting for 46 years.
Primarily I'm interested in colour and form, the abstract, along with the mood and atmosphere that a good painting can bring to the viewer. This is my motivation. It need not be a masterpiece, but should have an accord, an intent, reaching that inner voice. It need not be expensive or it can be.
Some will never like my work, I understand that, it may be too simple or not, others, in the minority will always like it but perhaps be not too sure why, its that connection I strive for.
I say
" Art is in the mind - I just set the mood."
